The Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS) is a professional organization comprised of the oil and gas industry’s most knowledgeable and influential accounting professionals.  COPAS has operated as a non-profit entity for more than 50 years and has over 4,000 members with 24 societies in the United States and Canada. Many of our publications and guidelines are incorporated into contracts and establish many of the rules and guidelines used by our members in their daily jobs.  The collective COPAS expertise is often looked to by many governmental agencies for assistance in drafting procedures and rules.  There is no better place for networking, knowledgeable sharing and educational opportunities.
